Canadian Companies IDS, Seequent and Clevest Win 2020 Esri Partner Awards
These companies prove how location intelligence makes their business collaborations much more effective
TORONTO–March 11, 2020 – Esri Canada congratulates three Canadian companies, chosen from thousands of Esri partner organizations worldwide, for receiving 2020 Esri Partner awards at the annual Esri Partner Conference in Palm Springs, California. IDS Infrastructure Data Solutions, ('Analytics to Insights' award), Seequent ('Analytics to Insights' award) and Clevest ('Fostering Engagement' award) all demonstrated that effective enterprise implementation of geographic information system (GIS) technology delivers better services.
“These companies have shown how using location is the key to large-scale integration of natural and man-made assets and increases their effectiveness. IDS is using location to model capital spending. Seequent is integrating mineral data from around the globe and Clevest is building their business through partnering with other location-centric companies. They all prove that location is the integrator to planning and effectiveness,” said Alex Miller, president, Esri Canada.
IDS receives ‘Analytics to Insights’ award
IDS created Asset Optimizer, a cloud-based AI-powered ISO 55000-compliant decision analytics and optimization software that extends the capabilities of ArcGIS into the infrastructure asset management domain. It provides asset managers vital information to make decisions involving millions of dollars, and develop optimal asset renewal plans, all within a spatial context.
“Asset Optimizer helps infrastructure owners and operators of all sizes to use the most advanced analytics and optimization technology to plan and manage all types of assets in one system,” says Dr. Mahmoud Halfawy, founder and CEO of IDS.
Seequent recognized with ‘Analytics to Insights’ award
Seequent develops powerful geoscience analysis, modelling and collaborative technologies for understanding subsurface geoscience and engineering design solutions. They developed a solution called Target for ArcGIS Pro, which is now the industry standard for importing, viewing and analyzing geological data.
Sara Deschamps, Seequent’s product owner, and team created the geological extension that enables mining and mineral exploration customers to visualize their drillhole projects in ArcGIS Pro. “Working with Esri, we were able to deliver a flexible and integrated solution that allows our customers to seamlessly work with drillhole and borehole geological data within the ArcGIS Pro environment,” she says.
Clevest honoured with ‘Fostering Engagement’ award
Clevest has deeply enhanced their system for field worker management through engagement with Esri partners Geotab and SAP. These partners enable them to offer their customers a more comprehensive look at their business, which is attractive for organizations of all sizes.
“Our customers have seen the value of these strategic business partnerships, which means we have too,” says Carol Johnston, Clevest’s vice president of product & marketing, who has overseen much of this work.
All three have used Esri’s ArcGIS technology to build different apps and solutions. IDS built Asset Optimizer, which was recognized by the American Society of Civil Engineers with an Innovation Award. Seequent built Target Network Assessment Framework, which allows them to do 3D subsurface imaging and Clevest released the Network Assessment Framework, which allows them to streamline mass utility connects and disconnects.
