Sanita Richards is a Consultant with the Land Information Solutions team at Esri Canada. She is a former Chief Map Data Compiler with over nine years of experience in public-sector parcel mapping and land information systems. She supports clients across Canada in strengthening their land information workflows and parcel infrastructure using ArcGIS Pro. Before joining Esri Canada, Sanita spent more than nine years with Jamaica’s National Land Agency in the Surveys and Mapping Department working with cadastral survey plans and authoritative land dataset. She holds a bachelors degree in Land Surveying and GIS from the University of Technology, Jamaica, and a graduate certificate in GIS from the Centre of Geographic Sciences (COGS-NSCC). Now living in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Sanita volunteers with the Halifax Northwest Trails Association and enjoys building LEGO flowers, canoeing, and exploring local trails often resisting the urge to map them as she goes.
