Tech Corner: A snapshot of the latest patches & service packs
For years now, many of you have been keeping up with the latest software updates via our Getting Technical eNewsletter that is mailed directly to your inbox. While we continue to make this resource available, we are also going to start alerting you to new service packs and patches available each month through our corporate blog. Rest assured, if there’s a critical service pack, patch or hot fix released between posts, we’ll be sure to alert you about it in a special Tech Corner post.
Service packs are important because they help improve performance and allow you to get the most functionality from ArcGIS. Because patches and hot fixes are built on the most recent service pack, software must be current on service packs to implement patches and fixes.
We recommend that you continue to reference Getting Technical for a wealth of other resources tailored to the technical community such as FAQs, hot tips, white papers and other how-to guidance.
