This post rounds up recent announcements, service packs and patches that are all aimed to improve ArcGIS performance.

Each month we release service packs and patches in our ongoing effort to improve ArcGIS performance. These improvements are based on the continuous work of our software engineers and developers, as well as feedback from our growing network of users, developers and partners.

Because patches and hot fixes are built on the most recent service pack, software must be current on service packs to implement patches and fixes. Here's a round up of recent releases, announcements, patches and service packs.

This is an update to Service Pack 1 Patch 8 for the Mapping and Charting Solutions, including ArcGIS for Aviation: Charting, ArcGIS for Maritime: Charting and Esri Defense Mapping. Please download and install this patch at your earliest convenience.
