This research by Alberta Health Services and the University of Calgary analyzes physical activity, food environment and socioeconomic factors that are influencing obesity by applying geographically weighted regression to model varying spatial relationships. This map shows the percent of variation explained by local models and which risk factor matters in which neighbourhood or set of neighbourhoods.
