ArcGIS 1: Introduction to GIS
August 9-10, 9 am-5 pm (ET)
This course introduces GIS concepts and ArcGIS tools used to visualize real-world features, discover patterns, obtain information and communicate that information to others. Using the ArcGIS platform, you will create GIS maps, explore the data behind the maps, and analyze maps and data as you master fundamental concepts that underlie GIS technology.
Developing Web Apps with ArcGIS API for JavaScript
August 9-11, 9 am-5pm (ET)
This course teaches how to use the ArcGIS API for JavaScript to efficiently build high-performing, engaging web applications that meet the needs of their intended audience. You will learn about the classes available in the API, how to use them in a JavaScript-based web application, and how to incorporate ready-to-use content and ArcGIS services to enhance your applications. This course focuses on functionality available with ArcGIS 10.3 services, but many course concepts apply to ArcGIS 10.2 and 10.1 services.
ArcGIS 4: Sharing Content on the Web
September 28-30, 9 am-5 pm (ET)
This course prepares you to share geographic content so it is accessible to everyone who needs it, when they need it, however they want to access it. You will learn ArcGIS best practices to publish your organization's authoritative GIS data, maps and tools as services that can be discovered on your organization's public or private ArcGIS portal, easily accessed from desktop and online applications, and featured in web and mobile apps. Note: ArcMap is used to complete course exercises.
