June Topographic and Imagery Basemap updates
Some new Canadian content was published on ArcGIS Online this week, along with several updates. Guelph, ON and Longueuil, QC are both new contributors and had their content published as part of the World Topographic Basemap. Their content is now seamlessly integrated with other contributors’ content and is visible from 1:1,128 to 1:144,448.
Old map content (left) replaced by Ville de Longueuil’s map contribution (right).
Other communities that were updated this week include:
- Brantford, ON
- Brant County, ON
- Magog, QC
- Val-d’Or, QC
- Coquitlam, BC
- Kenora, ON
The Imagery Basemap was also updated with new Canadian content this week and now includes new imagery from:
- Grande Prairie, AB (2014, 10 cm)
- St. John’s, NL (2013, 7 cm)
- Oak Bay, BC (2014, 10 cm)
