The Howe Sound/Átl’ḵa7tsem Marine Reference Guide pulls together information that describes Átl’ḵa7tsem/Howe Sound's aquatic ecology, biophysical environmental boundaries and human uses to support efforts to manage the myriad of anthropogenic pressures.

Belfast-based broadband provider Fibrus reveals how GIS technology enhances collaboration. After winning a bid to bring internet connectivity to rural regions of Northern Ireland, Fibrus needed to coordinate their construction efforts, report accurate information to their investors and government leaders and empower stakeholders to make more effective decisions. GIS helped Fibrus save nearly $6 million and reduce wasted time by 500 hours a week.
